What's Next for Copal?

Back in February I sent you an email titled, my BIG REVEAL, mostly about how I ran out of gas and faced some real life burn out. In case you missed it, you can read it here.

Slowly and quietly, the seasons have changed and the magic has come back to my life. I’m happy to note, I even made some progress on my work goals (even if they added a few grey hairs to my head along the way, haha!).

On May 30th at around 1pm, I sat my last brow client in my chair and on June 1st, I affectionately made up my last bridal beauty. These last few months have been an overwhelming and bittersweet transition. I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge the outpouring of love and support from so many of you during this time. It’s been my complete honor to beautify + get to know you over these past years.

Entrepreneurship is a creative (and emotional) process that needs to be trusted.

The reality is though, being an entrepreneur is not for the faint of heart. It’s a TOUGH job. The reasons we sign up to be an entrepreneur are personal and varied: to be your own boss, to enjoy creative freedom, or simply to make money. But here’s the thing, when the going gets tough, these reasons are not going to be the drivers that pull you through.

Having a reason, bigger, and outside of yourself is critical because there is going to come a time, many times in fact, that you ask yourself, why the hell am I doing this?

For me, becoming crystal clear on my WHY has been the turning point to finding my true happiness.

Our mission at JFB X COPAL is to encourage positive change and promote good health through clean beauty. Our core values are to empower our customers and share information. We just happen to also sell amazing, “good for you” products, which makes things all the more fun.

Now that I have a better support system in place and I’m feeling more aligned, my Team and I are ready to double down on our mission! Are you ready?

Here are some changes you’ll see at our store the coming weeks and months:

There’s a new leading lady in town. At our brick and mortar in Madison, we hired a Store Manager-- her name is Rachel Wilczek and she brings a lot of talent and wisdom to the team.

We welcomed a new Brow Stylist + Holistic Esthetician, Aimee Thomas Oswalt.

Fun fact: Aimee is also a Reiki + Yoga practitioner. She practiced Esthetics in Colorado for 7 years before joining our team.

Things such as signage, packaging, and design at our store will start to look more like COPAL as the year progresses. That’s intentional. (just know, it’s still me behind all of the changes).

We will continue to grow and adjust our team to meet the demands of our growing business so stay tuned to meet even more clean beauty specialists.

So what will happen to the Jennie Fresa brand we’ve all come to know and love? Well, it’s not completely mapped out {just yet} but I CAN tell you this: It will live on. That story, my friends, is for another day. So, stay tuned.

Before you sign off, I’d like you know how much I love hearing from you. If there is a product you would like us to carry, a service we should offer, an experience at our store I should know about, or an event topic we should touch on-- let me know! Your feedback is oh- so- valuable. All of it. I mean that.

Lastly, any small business owner will agree, at the end of the day…..it’s all for YOU and because of YOU. I’m grateful every. single. day. for the support you’ve shown me over the many years. Thank you for following me on this journey. Until we talk again…

Xo, Jennie
